Indian Delegation at APMA

During the week of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association Annual Conference (June 12th), the Canadian Association of Moldmakers and WindsorEssex Economic Development Corporation will be hosting a strong delegation of up to 30 Indian companies (CEO level), along with companies from Mexico and other countries. Members of the Indian delegation in particular are looking for collaboration with Canadian companies, in order to keep up with their automotive contracts, as well as opportunities to use India as a low cost sourcing country. OEMs in India have been encouraging their suppliers to collaborate with Canadian companies.

As in previous years, CAMM and WE EDC will be working with APMA to provide a program of B2B meetings (which will be open to the incoming delegations) and site visits with nearby companies. If you have an interest in meeting with companies in the delegations there are two possible ways to participate:

  1. Register for the APMA Annual Conference and Exhibition. Participation in the B2B meetings is included with the registration fee so there is no additional cost. The Conference is on June 12th and the B2Bs will take place during the afternoon of June 11th at Caesars Windsor. Attendee registration should be available through the Conference website starting on April 12th. When you complete the registration form, be sure to click the box for B2B registration.

  1. If you will not be attending the Conference, you can register for just the B2B meetings (see pdf below). In that case there will be a cost – $350 plus HST for APMA/CAMM/Automate Canada members and $450 plus HST for non-members. However, there is no cost to participate in the B2Bs as a buyer or tech scout.

In the meantime, to assist us in matching your company with members of the incoming delegations, please complete the below profile and return to info@camm.ca by May 1. We will share the list of incoming companies with all of the Canadian companies who have submitted profiles as soon as possible. Site visits will be arranged separately based on the interests of the delegation members.
