CAMM and Automate Canada were association partners for the recen t Windsor Expo and current chair Saylo Lam and executive director Nicole Vlanich were on hand to explain the benefits of membership in the two associations.
CAMM (Canadian Association of Moldmakers) is the national association representing mold makers, service providers and suppliers in Canada. The forefront of its strategic vision is the best interest of our members and industry. It lobbies for legislative and policy changes on behalf of members and industry. Its networking events, such as its golf tournament and reception following Windsor Expo, provide opportunities for relationship building and to learn from each other’s experiences and to share ideas and knowledge. It also includes webinars and other learning opportunities.
Automate Canada is a national association, representing industrial automation companies, service providers and suppliers. It’s dedicated to keeping members up-to-date on industry related news, activities and legislation.
Windsor Expo, a table-top event held at the Ciociaro Club in the heart of moldmaking shop country, is organized annually by Shop Metalworking Technology magazine. It attracts regional buying influencers servicing the manufacturing job shops from Southwestern Ontario, US border markets including Michigan, Ohio, and New York all the way across small-town Ontario to the Ottawa and Quebec region. The event is held in partnership with SME Canada and association partners, CAMM and Automate Canada, CTMA and CMTDA.
