This year, CAMM attended a number of youth focused events where we had the opportunity to engage and encourage young adults to enter our industry.

In February, the Express to Trades event was held at the WFCU center and saw a huge turnout of youth and parents who were interested in the skilled trades.
In October, we exhibited at the LevelUp Skills Ontario show, with special guest Jetson Infinity, where we had a robotic arm at our booth that sparked the interest of the students in attendance.
We were pleased to support the Build a Dream ‘Dreamer Day’ in both Windsor and Toronto this year, with special guest from Husky, where we were able to discuss the opportunities in our industry for girls!
CAMM was also proud to partner with Invest Windsor-Essex and Workforce Windsor-Essex for Manufacturing Day. We had the opportunity to participate in some student tours of our member companies, including Cavalier and Laval. It was exciting to see the students engaged and interested!
It was great to see so many shops participate in Manufacturing Day.
