St. Clair College is inviting local employers to join us to offer formalized co-operative education opportunities for our students in the Electromechanical Engineering Technology – Robotics program. During co-op terms students will apply classroom theory and learning experiences in a workplace setting. Students will practice industry-specific and essential skills while adhering to workplace expectations.Co-op positions are full-time (35-40 hrs/week), paid opportunities and range from 12-14 weeks in total.
HOW IT WORKS:St. Clair College Career Services and program faculty will assist with the resume submittal, interview and student selection process.Participating students will have skills in industrial robot programming, PLC programming, machine vision, electrical design, welding, simulation, fluid power, mechanical design and project management.Employer benefits of hiring a co-op student include, gaining fresh ideas, filling workforce needs, and developing students who can turn into future employees
