As are all of us, the board & administration at CAMM/Automate Canada have been watching the news & participating in updates on the COVID-19 crisis. In this unprecedented time, we’ve been making decisions as new information becomes available in order to protect the health of our employees, volunteers, members and partners.
At this time, we have canceled all board meetings/steering committee meetings and events that were planned to take place between now & the end of April. We will be in touch as soon as alternate dates are set for these or if digital versions will take place as well as to inform you about events planned for May.
However, we don’t want to add to the overload of information you are likely already receiving on the rapidly evolving situation. We are sure you no doubt very actively involved in decision making as you steer your company through this.
Working together with a large group of other regional, provincial & federal organizations (like WEEDC, Workforce Windsor Essex, BDC and OGVG), we will be heading up a committee focused on the regional manufacturing sector to report the impact COVID-19 is having on your business to local government. We will be in touch over the next few days to start the communication and to seek feedback directly from you. NOTE: if you are not located in the Windsor Essex area, we still need to hear from you, so that we can get your voice heard at the Federal level and we will be reaching out to your provincial and local government areas so that you are also heard at all levels of government.
